Try to go to Waterton national Park and then you can dip down into glacier Montana

Sad to hear about Jasper. I have clients going on a Rocky Mountaineer trip soon and their trip is being modified.

We also drove between Radium Springs and Banff through Kootenay National Park. Not sure if any fire activity but it was a beautiful drive and area that I'd like to explore again. Would recommend if needed an alternative to Jasper area.
