The singer and the drone thing was cool, but the rest of it was laughably cringe. Just stick with tradition... but it is California, so we should have expected some dumbassery.

Giants hit two different runners with throws from the outfield in one inning. Don't think I've ever seen that before.

Ive watched thousands of giants games over the years, including dozens in person. Never seen anything that wasn't at any other game ive seen at a dozen other stadiums over the years, and literally nothing that wasn't traditional aside from random bull**** related to the covid and BLM era. What dumbassery in this game was because it was in California vs because it was a Netflix broadcast? Legitimately curious.

I've done multiple opening days, and everyone has their own things they do. STL last year had a parade of Ford F150s and Mustangs with classic players riding in them and then the Budweiser Clydesdales pranced around the warming track.

Not sure Netflix gets the blame for the odd taxi cab dancing, I think the giants pr folks put that together along with the trolley. The real difference was that this stuff is usually handled off camera and Netflix decided to broadcast it, so maybe that's where we can blame them.

This

The picture was crap.
The onscreen graphics took up too much room but at the same time were too small to read.
The green screen ads behind home plate ruined the entire picture.
The sound was garbage.

Not sure I saw one thing I liked about it and just all around an awful viewer experience.

It was big and took up space but at the same time the text was so damn small you could barely read it.
