Could I interest them in one lightly used Polish Prince?
I think NO has a nice core in progress with Jones, Murphy, Queen, and Bey. They'd be dumb to abandon that project.
Yeah, I agree and add Fears to that as well. He's putting up 15/3/3 on 44/37 shooting. Has some baby Fox qualities to him.
Here's a dumb/crazy trade idea for the day.

Hawks end up with
Okongwu/Looney
Giannis/Kristaps/Newell
Jalen Johnson/Thanasis?
Dyson/ Kennard
NAW/Vit K
Bucks:
Bucks now have control of their 2026 and 2027 picks plus the Pelicans' 2026 pick. They dump Kuzma and Turner. If they don't want to deal with Zion, they can try to move him for something, but also his contract is unguaranteed after this year, so they can treat it as an ending contract. Trae can opt out, so it can be an ending contract as well so that could be 90M off your cap, or trade one or both to some dumb team like Sacramento. But they can tank two years, plus have Risacher as a decent piece to keep or trade. But if you are rebuilding from losing Giannis, getting off Kuzma and Turner's contracts and getting control of your own pick the next two years, plus the Pelicans picks is a good way to go.
You can tank and have two top 5 picks to add to AJ Green, Ryan Rollins, and Risacher. Plus maybe Zion+Trae. Not the worst rebuild? I could see wanting the massive 7 first deal, but I don't think that is out there because people learned their lessons with Durant, PG13, etc. And the Pelicans pick and control of their own picks for two years is massively valuable.
Pelicans end up with:
Myles Turner/Missi/ DeAndre Jordan
Queen/Kuzma
Trey/Bey
Herb/Poole
Fears/Alvarado / DeJounte eventually
I really don't like Kuzma and Poole, but as 2nd team shot creators? Sure. NOLA has a bunch of bad salary (Poole, Kuz, DeJounte) but unwinding the Milwaukee pick to get Turner and getting off Zion by taking Turner and Kuz makes sense.
The 2027 Milwaukee/Pelicans pick is currently that NO gets the best of those two and the worst of those two goes to Atlanta. So via this trade, it goes back to Milwaukee so they have their own 26 and 27. Obviously a massive trade like that doesn't happen ever. But I am not sure what Milwaukee can realistically get for Giannis and this at least gets them their own picks back for two years and they can do more trades to acquire picks with Portis, Zion, Trae.
