Man that's exactly the vintage and the level of clean/lack of aftermarket Dia.ond plate, etc that I've wanted for forever. Was going to buy a similar one from a guy on TA about 15 years ago for about $5k. Bought an engagement ring instead.

I've decided to try again to sell my Jeep if anyone is interested. The market seems to think I had it priced too high, so the new price is $12,500. I have two Jeeps and don't need both, plus I have a new 16 year old driver so I need to make room in the garage. It's a great deal so someone take this off my hands. It's a really nice driver. It even recently took 2nd place at its first car show.

Beautiful jeep. We had a '79 CJ-5 Renegade with the 304 and 3-speed. It was my older brother's but I taught him to drive stick in it because my Dad wasn't a patient man so my brother let me use occasionally before I even had my DL. Good memories.

I'm probably not a serious buyer because I shouldn't but any more toys right now, but do you have any pictures of under the hood and the under carriage? It looks super clean, but some only look good up top and are a rusted mess below.
