Always good to have an elite athlete with several years of experience return for his last season…can't put a price on that. He has had some struggles but is plenty capable of being a high end box safety for us. Glad he's not leaving.
Nah. They gone.lagoag said:
This is good news I hope a couple of the DL guys decide to come back also.

Good depth piece.

The last few years he has seemed uninterested to tackle anyone. To be honest. They even put him on kick coverage vs Miami and just jogged around while Toney ran for 50yards

You're kidding, right? I mean, we're gonna judge him after being out for 3 months and taking a redshirt following a neck injury? Tough crowd up in here.
He's unquestionably an elite athlete. That hasn't translated to elite football player for us, but his athletic ability is elite.Dr. Tinkle said:

Welcome him back, but hopefully for a major price reduction too.
Nothing against him and support all Ag players, but too many mistakes thru the years (esp missed tackles in run support) and just not the same after his scary injury (frankly not sure he would continue to play after that injury).

Not the same??? Are you people insane? He came back for part of one game because it wouldn't cost his redshirt.

Nobody wanted Anderson and he's a good teammate so we took him back. He will go from 3rd safety to 4th safety. I guess that's a net positive for A&M but he is not an impact player and another disappointment from the '22 class. The sooner we move on from that tainted class, the better. Again, nothing against Anderson personally but he just hasn't progressed. Like I said, he is a good guy and teammate so that's something.
people like to just make stuff up around here lol.AozorAg said:AWP 97 said:

Completely false. He'll log significant reps for us next year, and he's moving back to nickel where he much more effective his freshman year.

Saw that.
Some guys need a wake up call...maybe going in the portal and not getting some offer he was thought he was worth will be his and we will see some harder play out of him. His freshman year his effort was 100.

He had several offers and chose to come back. God our fans suck and are complete idiots.

I don't think so. Seems to lack speed now. Love the kid though.AozorAg said:He's unquestionably an elite athlete. That hasn't translated to elite football player for us, but his athletic ability is elite.Dr. Tinkle said:

If he wasn't ready to play, he shouldn't have come back

The difference is Moss was very productive prior to the injury and everyone was hoping he could help.
Anderson wasn't and we all didn't think we would see him on the field again. Healthy or not.
