Cignetti never was at IU with DeBoer.. Cignetti never coached at IU until the HC job.

I'd be lying if I said it didn't pi** me off a little. Been waiting almost 40 fn' years for something like that for A&M and one of the most perenially sucky teams in college football just comes out of nowhere in a few years.
Indiana over the last 40 years 198-312-12
A&M over the last 40 years 293-165-5

Is that right? How have they played almost 60 more games than us?

My mom/dad live in Indiana. Visited this Christmas, fairly laughable all the IU flags popping up everywhere out of nowhere. Brother in law, who attended IU, is also puffing the chest about them, when I'm pretty sure he didn't attend games when he attended there.
So from that sense, call it jealousy, annoyed... whatever.. I'm rooting for Miami in the final.
This isn't accurate. I live in Bloomington, the IU flags that are up now have been up all year around town. They have a lot to learn about creating a big time college football atmosphere on gameday, but in terms of the people, they love their university just like we do.
I wear my Aggie gear pretty regularly, and haven't had anyone make a jackass comment about how we washed out early, or about how Indiana is better than A&M. 3 years living in Austin was an unsufferable experience (Cart McCry era) of having t-shirt sips not just root for Texas, but actively hassle Aggies. Most of the people I talk to have been very humble about the sudden emergence of Indiana football.

I did grad school at IU. Football games were a joke. They lived and breathed basketball (and thrown chairs). That I should live to see the day when Indiana is a football power and we are becoming a basketball school...
IU started having success when Pennix was QB and Cignetti was working there along with DeBoer. They took a step back when Pennix transferred, but getting Cignetti back was absolutely the game-changer.

I admit I think I am. It seems like they just walked in and took over. A&M should've been the one playing for national championship.

If Ohio State wasn't good, then NO ONE in the SEC was good.
The SEC rode the coat tails of Alabama for years. Complaining about another conference is ridiculous. The SEC has been the best conference, but nowhere near as good as we are in our heads. The SEC has absolutely been the most arrogant conference.

Nuts. They have 1 whole good year. And it's like Indiana is the Alabama dynasty. It's just dumb.

I might consider letting my girlfriend do it, just so you'd have a chance.
It's telling that you had to go with an internet warrior dodge to avoid the obvious truth that Colt would destroy you.
