Millions of threads on him but wanted to bring some positivity

1. He practiced today at full speed. Cut hard on both legs. Catching passes, spin moves, etc. He's ready.

2. Past two seasons combined - when Le'Veon gets 3+ carries, we are 13-1 (only loss was to ND last year)

Dude is a game changer. Excited to see him back on the field

Does anyone know more about his ankle injury? Seems quite severe to be out so long. I assume some associated ligament issues and minor tears.

I sure hope for A&M, selfishly, that this forces him to come back for his 5th season as I am sure this has significantly negatively impacted NFL draft boards. But then again....he has the CFP to prove his health. Which I hope he does and gains a 3rd round pick after helping to bring the Natty!

I really think he needs to play to increase his NFL stock value. Even if he wows at the combine, his lengthy injury stays the last two years will cause teams to hesitate on drafting him.

Moss at least gives us a fighting chance to run the ball. This game will come down to explosive plays down the field to our receivers and keeping them in passing situations throughout the game. 3rd and 7 or more in quarters 1-3 and a 7+ point lead in Q4.

They will be trying to do the same thing to us. They will be able to stop the run a little better than the Aggies but less explosive passing plays.

I like our chances, especially with Moss. But they will be a challenging team to beat.

Moss makes A&M a real threat to get to the final game, IMO.

He turns nothing into 2-3 yards, he turns 4-5 yard gains into 7-10 yard gains and he turns 8-10 yard plays into touchdowns.

Without Moss, I think Miami is a coin flip.
With Moss (healthy, not timid....which may not be possible after injury), I like A&M by 10+.

I just think he is that much of a difference maker.

How does one get ready for him exactly? I can understand getting ready for a running QB versus a pocket passer. An RB runs the ball. They all run the ball. They all have to be tackled. Moss is simply better at making guys miss and seeing daylight. That can't be prepared for.

If you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a ball. Not all preparation is the same

Moss has no eligibility to come back to A&M next season even if he wanted to. Doesn't qualify for a medical redshirt.

Most speculation based on information was a high ankle sprain. Since he didn't seem to have surgery, and they said from the beginning he could be back late in the year it tracks. Plus it looked to me like a hip drop tackle which also tracks, but I'm far from any expert.

Miami hasn't been a great running team this year, so on the surface, we should be able to shut down their running game pretty well. They're more healthy now at RB than they've been most of the year, though, so that part of the game will be a lot more interesting than it would have been a couple of weeks ago.

Their stats from the Florida game are pretty intimidating. But I also saw them play SMU.

NFL made them a penalty this year, although the implementation has been inconsistent and slow. Basically the defender wraps up around the waist then drops their dead weight on the runners ankles from behind. Still legal in college as far I know.

I think he will. I think that's why Elko sat him an extra 3 weeks so he'd be absolutely 100%

I agree. I'm sure he's kept his conditioning and the few extra weeks hopefully make him less susceptible to re-injury which is the worst feature of this type of injury. They may limit his carries compared to the early season depending on how the game shakes out, but I expect a sugnificant contribution.

After watching the film guy, if our oline gets off the ball as late as they did against tu, he's not gonna make a difference.

Sip was not a great running team either and in the second half they smoked us.

I don't trust our defense to stop the run at all.

Hopefully Moss is back and the offense can sustain drives and keep the ball away from Miami.

Moss increases our chances of getting 2 yards when we need 2 yards if the OC would call that play.
