FY Herbstreit!!

Your POS Ohio State along with the Big Ten Conference arrogantly said they were protecting the health of their athletes and chose not to play...UNTIL...they saw all these other conferences playing and they weren't about to miss out on the money. They decided to play a pathetic short season followed by not following their rules about the number of games required to play in the Big 10 Championship Game. NO TEAM from the big 12 should have been allowed in the playoffs that year.

ND set themselves up for this. Been coming for a long time. They are poor TV ratings now and do not have nearly the same pull. They need to humble up and join a freaking conference as their independence doesn't work in modern NIL.

How the hell did ND negotiate a guaranteed CFP next year if Top 12 AP....is beyond me. And why other conferences didn't block it is beyond me. ND is not special. It ain't the 1980s.

Nor the 1920s or 40s

Yes ,they have a good past, but that is not part of the CFP equation on rankings
