The BYU coach cried after the game saying Slocum ran up the score.

Slocum thought it was an odd comment coming from a coach that stated A&M wasn't a strong enough bowl opponent and they deserved to play a better team.

Seeding matters. As long as you got dumb committee on board do what is best for your team.

Example, Ags down 10 and our QB forced to take risks late down 2 scores. If we gave up trying to win and simply tried to make it 20-17, we would be ranked 5.

Scores matter.

Are they? If so explain to me how they are for real? The highest recruiting class of any team they have played is 38th in the country.

We will see, that's why you play the games. They would not be easy by any stretch of the word. Remember majority of the posters here saying Manning was overrated and our D-Line was going to "go in dry". We have plenty of flaws that should prevent us from looking down on teams in other conferences.

To be fair, there are a lot of extremist idiots here

Showing class doesn't necessarily preclude a championship...foolish to think otherwise. There's no correlation. You can be a loser and be classy....you can be a winner and be classy. You can be a tool and be a winner or a loser.

My point is throwing a 30-yard bomb to the endzone with 5 minutes left in the ballgame when you're up by 3 scores isn't necessary, and it won't change how they are seeded. It was already a convincing win.

The "bomb" was on 4th and 1 with 7 minutes left in the game of a 3 possession game. Guess they should have gave BYU the chance to come back?

I looked at the score thinking it was a bomb up 50 with 5 minutes left, it was 34-7 and the pass you are talking about was with 7 minutes left on a 4th down.
