He's at TCU. That offense scored a lot of points but is more spread and less power. Would he be on you list of offensive coordinators or is the Briles name just too tarnished?

Would Elko steer clear because he wants to try to avoid scoring too fast? Seems like Elko would be the type of coach that would want to have a balanced attack so that we could grind the clock down when we needed to.

He's a great OC. I'd interview him, at minimum.

And you can run very successfully from the spread.

The two aren't mutually exclusive.

He was actually worse than his father in the whole Baylor crap. He was more boots on the ground on the cover up and enabling of the athletes.

Art rightfully took the fall and blame, very well deserved, but his son was the true enabler of all that mess.

Baby Briles is as brilliant as his Dad was, back in the BDF and that exclusive style of offense.

Flip side is Baby Briles has the same low bar for integrity as his father too. So while he may be doing well in the BDF, he's not SEC ready. Briles' SIL, Lebby has shown that at Miss State.

He's basically Spav or Sumlin or a poor rendition of KK....notecard offense where WR just reads and goes to where he thinks DB isn't going w RPO. If a good QB and lots of good WRs are on the same page of the spread, it works in non SEC leagues well.

The offense Briles operates is totally different from the Sumlin, Spavital stuff. Still want nothing to do with either.

i want a balanced offense with a power running game.

texas aggie football is at its best when we have elite defenses and want to run the ball. i would like someone who has a similar balanced philosophy as what klein has had.

If Klein's trick plays annoyed you, Briles will drive you to the loony bin. I watch every arkansas game given that my wife is a Razorback and she could not have been happier the day Briles left.

I don't think I could stomach a Briles in College Station. There are other more qualified choices out there. Elko just has to find him.
