Trouble brewing for the burnt orange

i think sip wants sark gone

cant really call it a rebuilding year when you had the media-anointed Heisman trophy winner and #1 overall draft pick coming into the year and end up going 7-6. i think he's going to fail up into the NFL and sip is going to make a run at tech's coach, whatever his name is.

I'm not concerned about anyone they might get. The coaching pool just doesn't have that much proven, title-contending coaches right now. And those few guys seem pretty comfortable where they are.

Saban? Lol, no.
Smart? No.
Day? No.
Kiffin? No.
Jimbo? Lol, best of luck.
Kelly? He'd actually be a perfect fit.

They aren't going to take a gamble on a flyer. They'll want a splash hire.

If they retain Sark, all the better. We've seen his ceiling.

I agree. As soon as the buzz went out on a saturday morning in september that Sark was interested in NFL jobs, it seemed obvious that sippy was getting antsy and ready to make a change.

That is the most sip thing ever, let your coach know they are ready for him to move on by quietly releasing info that he is trying to move on about 5 hours before kick off.

Disgruntled sip fans are the ones putting that NFL BS out in the media.

TBF, Elko is hitting a home run right now and was not a splash, proven hire. Would not shock me if they try to copy us once again.

I actually can't think of a better cultural fit for Texas than Brian Kelly. Wow.

I think there is some real smoke with regard to the Sark to the NFL rumors. For example, McDaniel has worn out his welcome in Miami and Sark would be a probable candidate. With the way the collegiate game is right now, the NFL is a much better gig - IMO.

Bet he has a great hill country drawl, can even smell the brisket smoke he would douse himself in before walking into the presser
