Their defense is strong. Only giving up about 245 yards per game. Will be tougher than people think.

against the SEC they're giving up 310/gm.

SC 293
Bama 325
AUB 357
Vand 265

OP is correct, they've struggled against good teams.

Those are pretty good numbers, doesn't look like they are struggling to me.

ok, what is your record on calling your shot? so i know whether or not to be excited.

Go researching my "calling it now" post from last Mizzou game...

Everyone, including twitter exploded calling me crazy... and was spot on after watching game film.

I predicted the blowout last year... (after watching them and their schemes closely).

I do like Ahmad Hardy, but he has been pretty average against SEC competition. He's not a passing target at all, so we can just key him up and force their freshman QB to try and beat us with his arm.

Good luck with that. The best pass rush in the SEC may get ugly for him.

And I'm not afraid of Columbus. The atmosphere will be child's play compared to TD Jesus and Death Valley.

A little comparison for those that like numbers/stats:

Against quality competition, Mizzou is dwindling as they are getting beaten up/thinner with depth.

Them:

USC - 456 yards, 29 points
Bama - 325 yards, 24 points
Auburn - 343 yards, 17 points
Vandy - 376 yards, 10 points

(Notice the trend as the season progresses? Schemes - less effective, players - less depth)

Now - The Aggies:

ND - 488 yards, 40 points
Aub - 414 yards, 16 points (with game film available)
Ms State - 479 yards, 31 points
FL - 417 yards, 34 points
Ark - 497 yards, 45 points
LSU - 426 yards, 49 points

What stands out to you?

We are getting stronger while the competition fades... Mizzou getting weaker as depth and injuries take effect.

Ags have been VERY consistent with improvement - in game film, with points scored, and using different weapons. In previous years, with previous coaches, losing Moss would kill our offensive output. With this staff, they are overcoming and maintaining a high level of output. It's VERY impressive to watch.

I wasn't clear, I meant overall, offense and defense they've struggled against good teams.

As jturner181 pointed out above this post, they've gotten worse as the season has gone on.
