Ah cool a 10000 word rant about the inaccuracies of a movie nobody here considers historically accurate.

Read the whole post, did you? Take your sarcasm to the GB.

Let's reopen the JFK investigation in 2063, no one can with any direct, collateral, or anecdotal "knowledge" of the event can be hurt then.

The only thing that has ever really made me think about whether Oswald did it is this question: why didn't he take the shot when the car was coming down Houston street?

I've been to Dealey several times and it really doesn't make any sense why he would wait until after the turn. The car is coming directly at him, getting closer and closer, with no obstacles in the way, and it slows to almost a complete stop on the turn.

Once it turns, it becomes a tougher shot with each passing foot that the car drives away from him. And to top it off, he's got tree branches and a street light to contend with.

It is probably nothing, but it does stand out if you've been to the spot. Why pass up the easier shot?

For me their are two reasons. First, he has to identify JFK as their are several cars in the motorcade. Second, good chance he gets spotted before he can take the shot.

Plus there were two rows of people and a windshield in front of Kennedy with that shot. Might not even been able to see him through the other heads.

And SS alongside the car are facing that direction and would see muzzle flash and/or smoke from the shots. Immediate reaction by them towards POTUS, as well as towards the building. With the shots coming from behind there's a chance none of them see it until too late.

The SS being there SHOULD be a huge, literal red flag.

That's all I can add to this serious discussion.

That and LBJ couldn't possibly be involved. In order for someone to keep something like that from ever coming out? There's only one person in the world with enough power to make that possible. Hell, LBJ would have to become the President of the United St-

I'm watching the JFK series on Hulu, so thought I'd check out what TexAgs had on it.

I still can't believe LHO had a press conference. When in American history has that ever happened? Today, that would be like giving Bin Laden a press conference after he was captured. Not in a million years would they let him within a million miles of a microphone or camera before trial or anything. I can't imagine what it would be like to witness all of this first hand. Unprecedented. Crazy stuff

He didn't have a press conference, the press just shouted questions at him as he moved between Fritz's office, his cell and the suspect lineups.

If you watch National Geographic channel one day in America JFK. The Dallas news guy said they moved to larger room for press conference because they hallway was too small

Not with Oswald. That was with Curry and Wade.

The room they held the press conferences in was the same room where witnesses identified Oswald in about three lineups. But Oswald never was in that room with the press.

I am fascinated with the way he received the news that he was, in fact, charged with the assassination. I'm sure I'm just reading into it too much. But I would love to know what was going thru his head. It just looked...off.

Dr. Michael Baden is the guy who did the forensics for the government on Kennedy. I tell ya, this guy sure does get around. He's also known for
Testimony in the O. J. Simpson trial
Investigations of the John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King assassinations
Investigations of the deaths of John Belushi, Jeffrey Epstein, and the Shooting of Michael Brown and Murder of George Floyd.

If that doesn't scream out as very odd, I don't know what to tell you. Almost like he's a cover up artist.

From the OJ Simpson trial:

"After the trial, Baden said that testifying for Simpson was a mistake as his reputation and credibility never recovered and his clientele for his consulting practice all but vanished.[41] Because of the negative reaction to the acquittal by the public,[42] the jurors stating they believed his two aforementioned claims that he later disowned,[43] and the trial being televised making his testimony widely known,[4] he was constantly being made to rehash his testimony from the Simpson case during cross-examination in other cases and constantly being discredited for allegedly being a "rented expert" who sold himself to Simpson and deliberately gave misleading testimony in order to collect a $165,000 retainer."

This guy will do and say whatever you tell him as long as you pay him apparently. What a piece of **** in my opinion.

He's also the dirty **** behind the Derrick Chauvin Trial...

"From the evidence available to them, which did not include a toxicology report or unspecified bodily samples, Baden and Wilson announced on June 1 that Floyd's death was caused by asphyxia due to neck and back compression and that Floyd had no underlying medical problem that contributed to his death. Their results conflicted with the autopsy performed by Andrew Baker, a pathologist and the chief medical examiner for Hennepin County since 2004, which found that the cause of death was "cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement subdual, restraint, and neck compression.'"

I swear...he's a forensic for hire and the pain he's caused from his seemingly deliberate misjudgments are just...tragic. He was also the pathologist on the Michael Brown case and then wrote a book about BLM.

This one's my favorite:

In 2007, Baden testified on his new theory on the death of music producer Phil Spector's victim. He sought to provide an alternate explanation for blood on the victim's jacket. When asked by a prosecutor if he had any conflicts of interest, Baden replied "None that I can think of." It was later revealed that his wife was one of Spector's main attorneys.

His wife was one of the lead defense attorneys. haha

They brought him in for a quick press conference. They let him make a statement and even answer a few questions from members of the press. It was definitely not in the hallway while he was being moved!

Got interested in this topic due to the 60 year anniversary and my lack of knowledge on the topic.

I'm a novice but in my "research", and I use that term loosely, there are things that I have found very odd. Such as, the single bullet theory of the Warren Commission report. Also thought it was interesting that Dulles told Warren Commission group to find that LHO acted alone. The doctor who was attempting to save JFK at parkland stating that his neck wound was consistent with an entry wound. And lastly I thought it was very coincidental that the House Select Committee had Joannides as their CIA liaison. Joannides also happened to withhold from the committee his involvement with the a group of Cuban exiles whose officers had direct contact with LHO prior to the assassination of JFK.

Okay, the neck wound was an entry wound. Where was it shot from and why did no one see him and his rifle? Where did he escape without being seen by anyone?
KCup17

All good questions. I'm not theorizing the answers because I have no clue.

However there seems to be evidence of multiple shooters. Just because the shooters themselves weren't spotted doesn't mean they didn't exist.
BQ78

What evidence? The head snap? Doctors who briefly looked at wounds and made bad assumptions?

I would entertain the idea of assassins in front of Kennedy based on that "evidence" if I could reconcile what the shooters did after firing. What did they do with the rifle? The casings? where did they go afterwards? The best solution is they just vanished, because the Triple Overpass and Grassy Knoll locations are too conspicuous.

Timing between shots being one. And are we supposed to believe that a single bullet (CE 399) made 7 entry and exit wounds shattered a wrist, pulverized 4 inches of rib approximately 15 inches of muscle and was found in near perfect condition?

In the Zapruder film Kennedy was hit between frames 210-225 and Connelly was hit no later than frame 240. The rifle LHO used takes no less than 41-42 frames to get off a successful shot.

Not exactly pristine.

BQ78
How long do you want to ignore this user?
AG
The bullet tumbled coming out of Kennedy and hit Connally sideways. It is not pristine it is flattened on the sides and lead is protruding at the bottom. It also ballistically tied 100% to the gun found on the 6th floor of the TSBD. So even if it was a plant, it was fired out of that gun. Which is irrefutably Oswald's gun.
KCup17
How long do you want to ignore this user?
AG
I'm not claiming it to be a plant. I guess my question is, is it believable that the bullet in the above pictures did the damage consistent with the Single Bullet theory?
BQ78
How long do you want to ignore this user?
AG
I think so, the velocity was greatly reduced and the bullet tumbling after passing through Kennedy.

You said 7 exit and entry wounds but I only count 6: 1) Kennedy's back, 2) Kennedy's throat, 3) Connally back/side, 4) Connally's chest, 5) Connally's wrist and 6) Connally's leg where it barely penetrated and why it was found loose on the gurney.
KCup17
How long do you want to ignore this user?

I added the exit from the palm in that calculation.

It also remains to be seen if Landis' claims are accurate. He claimed back in September that he found the bullet in the car behind where the president had been sitting and placed it on the presidents gurney.
BQ78
How long do you want to ignore this user?

It wasn't found by a Fed, an engineering tech at Parkland found it and then handed it to a Fed.
KCup17
How long do you want to ignore this user?
AG
Landis' claim was that he left it on the gurney to be found.
BQ78
How long do you want to ignore this user?

Why would he do that and keep quiet for 60 years, when there is so much controversy about that bullet? He sounds like a dope

Although finding it on the floor of the vehicle in front of Connolly makes more sense. Of course that would explain the controversy of what gurney it was found on.

But that seems like a government FU only topped by the president being killed and Gordon Shanklin telling Jim Hosty to destroy the note Oswald left for Hosty.
KCup17
How long do you want to ignore this user?
AG
I'm not sure why either. His claim was that he was never asked about it.

There's just a ton of oddities surrounding the whole thing. Like the doctor who was responsible for the autopsy report burned his original copy in his fire place and made a revision of it. Just weird

Sorry if stated multiple times before: Why couldn't Oswald have worked under cover for some type of operation (government, mafia, Russia ....) unrelated to the assassination of JFK and Oswald shooting JFK was him going rogue on his own?

Since Oswald was killed, it would be much easier to bury anything related to whatever operation Oswald was part of.
BQ78
How long do you want to ignore this user?

Because he was a loser loner that no one liked or could get along with. When he returned to the US from Russia he lived in poverty without a pot to piss in. Hardly the making of a government operative, mafia hit man or any other agent you can conjecture.

Ha, I suppose you are correct.

But your response put me in mind of a joke: Two Kennedy Conspiracy Theorists were travelling down I-35 to attend the annual JFK Conspiracy Forum in Dallas. An eighteen wheeler doesn't see them and changes lanes killing both of them quicker than JFK in Dealy Plaza. They get to heaven and after meeting with God one of them says, "Lord, I just have one question for you, who killed John Kennedy?" God rolls his eyes and says, "I'm going to discuss this just one time and then you need to drop it." The two guys nod their heads and God replies, "It was Lee Harvey Oswald acting alone firing a Mannlicher Carcano from the 6th floor of the Texas School Book Depository Building." When the two get out of the meeting, one turns to the other and says, "Man, this conspiracy goes a lot higher than I ever imagined."
