They got rid of the paper tags and started cracking down on everyone running a fake tag. It seemed to be effective and they disappeared off the streets quick.

Now I am starting to see a lot more of the new temp tags on similar type cars being driven by the same usual suspects.

Has the fraud machine started back up or is this just a coincidence?

I've noticed the same. I also never see police pulling anyone over so probably a connection there.
