Every single democrat senator thinks that this falls short, and that mentally ill talentless boys must also be able to shower and change next to my daughter, after they crush her in sport.

no if you live in the City of Houston or City of Huntsville (Houston has very good water rights that become more valuable as water becomes more scarce)

yes if you eat meat or are a farmer
no if you are a vegetarian

6. no tax on securities
yes if you are saving for retirement
no if you live paycheck to paycheck

7. reduce tasks for soldier spouses
yes if you or a family member served
no if nobody in your family served (and you don't have a heart)

yes if you and your family invest
no if you and your family live paycheck to paycheck

9. reduced taxes for business property
yes if you own a business or plan to, or own company stock, or profit sharing
no if you don't own a business

* seems like it takes power away from judicial branch and gives it to legislature. Probably good if you're a republican and bad if you're a democrat. Feel free to disagree since don't have much of an opinion either way on this one.

14. Dementia research
no, medical research should be a federal responsibility. They collect enough tax money to do it. Shouldn't rely on states for this type of expense.

no if LGBT issues are your primary voting issue and you trust teachers/doctors to better guide children than parents.

Already the law, so doesn't really matter

Very few people are affected by this so it doesn't really matter.

Anything that reduces taxes or or increases property tax exemption should get a hard yes.

People are getting taxed out of their homes because they have to pay rent to the government.

that's what I did. Seems like all those things could be done in normal legislative process instead of putting out 17 amendments that some miniscule population of our state will actually vote on. F 'em for wasting our time.

I still cannot fathom how 32% of Harris country and 57% of Travis County voted no on Prop 16.

I think all residents should be able to vote on school board and bond issues. Right now its taxation without representation.

Every resident in this state is paying property taxes (either directly or indirectly) and sales taxes. The school district is the largest part of that property tax bill. I say let every resident have a say who gets to be on school board since they are paying into the system that is educating their kids if they have a family. I understand keeping major elections to citizens only.
