Long shot here....my MIL lives in your typical 2-story Kingwood house in Kings Point.

Does anyone have a lead on cheapish light installer for a 2-story roofline? I already have all the professional grade materials (socket line, tabs, LED bulbs)....just need someone to do the work.

You may want to check Thumbtack. There are several roofing companies that do this on the side. I use Robles Roofing and they have been reasonable and done a good job. 832-258-2962 Not cheap, but cheaper than me going to the hospital after falling off a ladder like Clark Griswold.

I use my cash only friendly neighborhood Spanish speaking yard guy. $200 to put them up, $150 to take them down. I provide all the lights, clips, spare bulbs, extension cords, sensors, etc. Try asking their yard guy if he's like mine. He's basically become my catch all handy man, and will do just about anything for a couple hundred bucks. Been doing it this way for years.

All those light installers wanted $1k+. One robber baron wanted $3k+ and I had to buy all new lights and everything at his markup. Reminds me that I'm in the wrong business. I can't imagine how much these guys clean up on all the housewives with limitless AmEx's in Tanglewood and River Oaks and the like who don't even ask the price, just ask when they can be there.
