Looking at parking for this event. Recommendations appreciated. I am taking my 4 year old and 9 year old so walking 3/4 mile or more is not feasible. Every site I've used in the past shows the closer lots (color lots near NRG) over $100. Is spending $50 or more the only option to park and have to walk a long way?

I found an option through NRG on a site called JustPark and shows a blue lot parking option for $40. Is that legitimate or a scam? Seems fishy when every other site has it over $125.

Park at the Fanin South transit center and take the rail. It is $1.25 per person each way.

Are kids' tickets still JUST 5 DOLLARS?

This is what I did last year. It worked out fine, parking was not sold out and we did not get there crazy early.

FYI, if you're going to the pit party before hand, the entrance last time was at the SE entry, by the blue lot. We parked in red and had to hoof it all the way around. It wasn't terrible, but if you're worried about how far the kids are walking, know that's where you're likely headed and choose accordingly.

Also recommend taking the train. Always fun for the kids.

I parked in yellow lot with my 4 yr old and parents in their 70s. Wasn't an issue at all walking. If anything it helped him burn some energy before getting stuck in a seat for a couple of hours.

I know you said you dont want to walk a long ways but I always park in this parking garage by the Burea of Vital Statistics. It is 0.7 miles away from the stadium but it's like $5-10 to park and easy exit so worth it to me.

I'll second that garage. It's a hidden gem.

Holy fook! Still can't get over how loud it was. Also shocked at the amount of grownups with no ear protection. At least all the kids around me had some. It was a fun event and my son loved it.
