I've always wondered what it would be like to be driving in the 80s and feel like you're going 100. That kind of self-confidence must feel amazing.Sea Speed said:

We clown this guy, but celebrate Mickey Gilley. Maybe dude was celebrating a piece of local history. Maybe if Mr. LegHut could sing better he would be loved too.
Mickey Gilley was never suspected, or charged with burning down the club. It was Sherwood Cryer who was in debt to Mickey Gilley and is suspected to be the one to burn it down.Milwaukees Best Light said:

I'd kind of like to trade place just for one week, to see what it feels like to be right about everything and never doubt my stupid ideas. Or to actually believe whatever ****ing lie falls out of my mouth next.Sea Speed said:
You can't even comprehend how the minds of someone with a 1SD IQ difference works. So I don't mind not having their theory of mind, but they also can't comprehend ours, which is wild.
I think being ****faced drunk when I was younger is the closest analogue I can make. But without any friends there to tell me I was drunk and talk me out of the fight.Sea Speed said:

Not sure how to post instagram. But to my shock and surprise, The TLH was selling weed along with meat.
Quote:
Before it closed last year, the Turkey Leg Hut was famous for its oversized and smothered turkey drumsticks, and for the crowds and celebrities to its Third Ward location.
But amid new criminal charges against one of the restaurant's co-owners, federal authorities said they believed more than just meat was being sold out of the Almeda Road eatery.
An FBI agent testified Thursday that the restaurant was also used to store and sell large amounts of marijuana.
On Thursday, lawyers representing former Turkey Leg Hut owner Lynn Price and the Justice Department argued over whether he could be released on bond until his criminal trial.
As part of the detention hearing, FBI special Agent Deborah Cline testified about evidence collected by investigators during the course of the agency's yearslong investigation into an arson at Bar 5015. Lynn Price is accused of hiring four men to set fire to the bar, which is owned by his former business partner.
SHOCKING DETAILS: Former Turkey Leg Hut Owner Lynn Price is now being accused of trafficking thousands of pounds of drugs, threatening staff. One of the guns police seized from his home had a Turkey Leg Hut logo on it.

In other TLH news, Oyster Hut has been cited multiple times but the city cannot do anything about it opening up without a license after hours when inspectors are off the clock. And health department investigators have to have a police escort when inspecting. What a crock of sh-t!Quote:
"If I don't do it, somebody else will," McCoy-Lankford said. "It is about doing it in good taste… we have the opportunity to set the record straight here. This is what happened, no matter who's at fault."

HHD does not have the authority to place physical barriers to entry or to prevent a business owner from occupying a space," the Houston Health Department said in a statement to 13 Investigates.

People familiar with the situation say the restaurant opens in the evening, after the city's inspectors are off work.
Community members questioned how the business has been able to continue to operate despite not having proper permits.
City agencies say because of how the ordinance is set up, they don't have the authority to shut down businesses that aren't in compliance. All they can do is write an infinite number of citations.
The health department acknowledged the limitations and said they have engaged the city attorney's office and other partners to enforce closure of the restaurant.

Well, this has apparently been filmed by a woman who does BET content. She claims she wasn't in the market for a TLH documentary until she met Price because she wanted the former building TLH had for another restaurant concept.Quote:
