The Master Gardener Plant Sale will be this coming Saturday, March 28, beginning at 0800 until sold out.

Brazos County Extension Office 4153 County Park Ct., Bryan, TX

We have docents available to answer your plant questions.

Isn't/wasn't there another plant sale where you order online and then go pick it up? I like that idea better as it doesn't mean a mad early morning rush.

That was the Rooted In Go N Grow Garden in a box sale. Pick up date is April 11. However: the kits are SOLD OUT! I think this is the earliest they've sold out. Yikes! There will be another in the fall, I think September. The pre-order is usually April and September. I may camp out at the Master Gardener sale, since I need some more pollinator plants.

we keep increasing the size of the sale but the items go fast.

Since you're interested in herbs, and may want hard to find Comfrey, check out the Pass Along Plants. We grew a few Bocking 4 variety just for the sale, along with several other plants.

Do you have a map where each section is? I have been looking for Comfrey. Usually I can't make the sale since it is typically the day of Big Event and since there is no Brazos County Farmers Market this saturday due to the Troubador Festival I can make it. Bringing a chair. Do people still bring wagons?

Plants are in alphabetical order. Closest to the entry are the "A".

Bring a wagon, that's a great idea. We have some but not enough for the entire crowd.

Herbs and Vegetables are between the two buildings on the concrete mezzanine.

Pass A Long (PAL) plants is where the Comfrey is. It is also on the concrete mezzanine between.


Plant Sale was moved to avoid conflict with the Big Event.

Weather is forecast to be very nice.

I'm here now (9:30 AM) and there is still lots of inventory. Some of the larger landscape plants are sold out but plenty of herbs, tomatoes, natives, etc. Lots to choose from.

Tomato plants are $2 today at the C.S farmer's market. Includes Cherokee Purple and Sun Gold, as well as others.

There were several varieties at the Farm Patch last week. They are good about restocking too.

(The veggie plants are separate from all the other plants. They are out front on the right as facing the building)
