The more than 60 year old family owned and operated Readfield Meats and Deli in Bryan may not be going away.
A cousin of the brothers who own the store, J.J. Ruffino, says in response to potential buyers, there is a drop dead date of March 10th to submit a letter of intent.
During an extended WTAW visit with co-owners Larry, Roland, and Richard Ruffino, J.J. said in the two days after his cousins announced they were retiring, he heard from 20 people and received three offers.

In the old Chinese food restaurant location?
Man. I would rather see it in the Salad & Go spot than there. Neither is ideal but that will have to be an amazing product to win at the TSC plaza area.

Rusty posted a blurb about Hullabaloo Diner possibly closing. Landowner is selling the plot, so uncertain what next owner wants to do. I wonder, since its a diner, if that might make relocating any easier? Rich and Sydney are great, I hope they figure something out.

I can't speak for the finances of Hullabaloo Diner but the hours of Hullabaloo these days sounds like it's been running on fumes for a while now. Can't really run a restaurant on 5 meals each week.

They have been running it this way for six years now. Since COVID first changed everything.

(Proceeds to speak on the finances)
