It's great for 55 year olds wanting a quiet place to live.
Noticed Texas Archery is open on HWY 30…. Not far from C&Js.
Is it actually open or just the sign out front? The sign has been there for a while.

Man. I would rather see it in the Salad & Go spot than there. Neither is ideal but that will have to be an amazing product to win at the TSC plaza area.

Actually, I believe it is in a little building next to the old Chinese place. It was built and vacant for years. I believe this is the first tenant there.
I agree, not the location I would have picked. Jones Crossing, Tower Point, Wellborn near HTeaO, anywhere on University, etc. would have all made a lot more sense. Maybe the virality of the dirty soda will make it a success despite the location.
Speaking of Chinese, sign up for a hot pot place in the Tejas Center. Something like Show Mini Hot Pot I think.
What about the one on WJB near Hwy6? Will it stay open? I don't know if the public can use that location or if it's commercial only.

FYI anyone can go to the cove with a membership, it's not just college kids. I'd say it's 50/50. It's a blast!

I can't speak for the finances of Hullabaloo Diner but the hours of Hullabaloo these days sounds like it's been running on fumes for a while now. Can't really run a restaurant on 5 meals each week.

All I said was that when restaurants cut back hours it's always a bad sign and with Hullabaloo's cut hours it was only matter of time before closing.

As a restaurant's functional lifespan, not the finances of the owners. There often is, in fact, a difference.
Amico Nave was cutting back hours before its closure but the owners weren't financially struggling, not with the big renovation of the building (and no, despite the grant much of it was paid out of pocket).
