It's fireplace season! Post your best source of quality and economical firewood for:

1) Quantity - 1/2 cord, cord etc.
2) Store bought, for those of us who need clean, dry, non-smoky wood

I noticed Lowes was up to $8.95/bundle! Also in years past I have purchased "apartment stacks" which were a better deal than buying by the bundle.

I got 1/4 cord delivered from amuzny today. Highly recommend them. Good quality and I discovered I have been getting ripped off for years because the 1/4 cord they brought me was more wood than some 1/2 cords I've bought from others. They delivered and stacked it very neatly. Very nice people also

This time of year the question is the moisture level. If it's more than 20% it's not seasoned and won't burn well. Spend $15 on a moisture meter on Amazon and confirm your purchase.
