Ok, gotcha. Regan gets 10 people and he gets the floor for 10 minutes. It took me a while.

I wasn't there. I thought he had 5 people that gave him 10 minutes.

Craig made a compelling case that wasn't rude or disrespectful. He is a Navy veteran so he knows how to deliver a briefing.

Craig only had 4 at the deadline. Need 5 for 10 minutes, like the midtown folks had. One was my 17 year old daughter. She was mad enough to go after she learned that we could have had a Dave and Busters type place.
We seriously need folks to get involved. Supporting us on Texags is great. To truly change the current one party rule in CS, we need folks willing to roll up their sleeves and get involved!

When the City council found out that the city manager and assistance withheld the information about Jim 'offer, he should have been fired the next day.Hornbeck said:
Excuse me, but the mayor is full of ***** I'm watching now.
Way to get the scoop, Rusty / Dunnie… welcome to last week.
That was the huge red flag for me as well, even before we got access to the ORR docs. If mayor and staff were on the up and up and truly believed they were righteous in all of this they would have produced the info ricky tick to anyone to see. Instead they behaved like Enron when the regulators showed up.maroon barchetta said:
How about Mr. Yancy asking for info numerous times and getting nothing in return?

Can't you imagine being the assistant to the CEO of a major corporation and withheld fnformation from the CEO that cost the company 7 million dollars and a reacurring monthly cost. You would have been given 5 minutes to get your personal items off your desk before you were led to the front door and asked for the building keys.

And is Yancy the only COCS member who reads these posts?
I understand your desire to soften some criticism of your colleagues. You have to work with them, we do not, especially those of us who are not residents. I 100% understand your desire to maintain some regality.Bob Yancy said:
Please also bear in mind that compliments at the expense of my colleagues, or comparing and contrasting leadership styles or backgrounds, is somewhat counterproductive. We're all volunteers, care deeply about our city, and want what's best even if we don't see eye to eye on some things. We also have to work with each other and without support, no one councilmember can achieve anything alone.
