The court records say he was sentenced to four years (eligible for parole after half), but he still has two other sexual assault (rape) charges and one indecent assault (groping) charge. His trial was for one charge of sexual assault. He also has to register as a sex offender for life.
And he had to surrender his medical license so he can't prey on patients again.
When are the subsequent trials for the other charges?
They're not scheduled yet.

It is also strange that the patient chose to drink the booze at a doctor's office. To me that would be a red flag if my doctor offered me alcohol.

I definitely want to avoid victim blaming, but I agree 100%. Very odd.

That part of the article confused me.
He went to trial for sexually assaulting one of the victims, but three of the four victims testified during his trial.
