When I was a little kid, it become my duty to fish out items stuck in the toilet my younger siblings tried to flush. My little hand and arm would better fit in there to let me get out wherever toy or clothing item was stuck in the trap. I was never amused but I'm pretty sure my dad was happy he didn't have to remove the whole toilet when it worked.

Kids love to flush things. I'd also check couches and sink traps too.

My wife lost hers for about two years. We eventually found it lodged in the roller mechanism of a little used vacuum cleaner.

Could have used your little arms when my middle kid flushed a Thomas the Tank Engine down the toilet once. Couldn't figure out why the toilet kept backing up until the plumber came out and snaked that damn wooden toy out. Had a similar issue when my dad, unbeknownst to him, dropped his flip-phone down the same crapper. He thought he'd lost it and I couldn't figure out why that damn crapper wouldn't flush. Plumber pulls out that ****ty flip-phone. FML

We might be related. My wedding and Aggie ring have both gone missing from the house in the past six months. Strongly suspected are my 4 and 5 year olds who rather convincingly have plead their innocence. Except I know them better.

Mother-in-law lost her keys along time ago. No idea where they went.

Nephew was about 2.

About 6 months later mother-in-law mentions in a story that she lost her keys and has no idea where the went. Nephew walks into the front room and reaches into the bottom of a vase and brings them to her.

Would have never found them if he hadn't have went to get them.

Couch is where I would concentrate. Pull the cushions, all of them, then run your fingers anywhere goldfish dust accumulates.

Maybe not, mines been missing for almost 2 years. Anytime mine came off it either sat on my bathroom counter or the top of my dresser. I've turned the house upside down multiple times, taken all the drawers out of the dresser, checked in all my shoes/boots, pockets of everything that even has a pocket, etc… nothing.

There's just as high a chance it was thrown in the garbage by said toddler as being "hidden" anywhere else by the ankle biter.

Start looking for something else. That's when I find all kinds of s**t I wasn't looking for.

Turn a 3yr old loose that has absolutely no business with said ring.

In 10min you'll have your ring back.

Edit: I posted this prior to being fully awake and skimmed over the part where a toddler lost it in the first place.

Had this just happen with a Surefire Flashlight. Bought a newer model & my old one turned up.

I can think of one way she find have found it much sooner.

I "lost" my first Aggie ring. Found it in the pocket of a bathrobe. I then really lost it. Pretty sure it slipped off my finger while I was burying my first dog. Never checked, but I hope that is where it is. She deserved it.
Still have my second, and am much more careful.

My wife has lost her wedding ring twice. One time it got stuck in the door of a cat carrier, and another time it came off in the ice tray in the freezer.

Both were years ago, and thankfully, she has not lost it since.

When we were breaking my oldest of the pacifier when she was about 14 months, my wife and I went all through the house and found every one we could. I'm talking looking behind bookcases, under beds, etc. We took them away, and I kid you not, she walked into a dark room and came out with one in her mouth about 30 seconds later. My wife and I just looked at each other and said "yeah, she got us" and let her have it one last night.

I'd ask Anthony. Often works for me.

Did you try asking your wife? That's what I do when I can't find something.

Move to a new house. When you've moved everything out of your current house you'll find it for sure.

Rest assured, if you find it, it will be in the last place you look.
