Well it's just a .308 with flat nose bullets for lever guns. That's what Winchester says anyway.
But a very nice gun.
That's really increasing in value seems like!

I have a Marlin in 35 Remington. Haven't shot it much. Impulse buy.

No one has mentioned my rifle. Winchester 94 in 307 Winchester

Great gun in the 94ae and also a great caliber. Winchester designed it so you could mount scope directly above the action and eject at an angle. The other calibers available were the .356 and 7-30 Waters. Hang onto that gun they've really gone up in value since being introduced in the mid 80s.

By 1983-1984 Winchesters "angle eject" feature was standard on all Model 94 Standard rifles. The angle eject feature was produced in standard Model 94's in .30-30, 7-30 Waters, .44 mag, .44 Spl, .357mag, and .45 Long Colt.
In 1983 Winchester introduced their Model 94 Big Bore (XTR until 1989) and with the AE (angle eject) designation in .307 Winchester, 7-30 Waters, .30-.30, .356, .375, and .444 Marlin.
As Crow Valley said, the collectability/value of the Big Bore Model 94's has increased significantly with 7-30 Waters chambered models bringing a premium.
The Standard Model 94's with the angle eject don't have quite the value as do the Big Bore/XTR Model 94's…yet…....but they are trending upward.
