I'm not worried about score but had big six step out today that I guessed at 3 1/2. Just wondering what the OB since yall know things.

Dammed sure close to his athletic prime but interesting to see what he looks like next year because of the width for a Brazos County deer.

I HATE saying this but if you aren't in a hurry for meat I'd give him another year. He's pretty young.

I let him walk today and as long as it's a mature deer I will shoot him even if he's weird. Will he magically grow G2's next year, I doubt it. But will he make a unique monster 6 maybe. I can't make up my mind about the future.

Id lean 4 on him. But, if you have other options around for deer of similar age, Id shoot him. No, he's not likely to grow another full size typical point next year. More likely to stay the same and just get bigger or add a non-typical point.

Your pic reminds me of a brazos county pic I got yesterday at 11:00am. That pose makes them look regal and more muscular than they are.



In the second, more typical profile pic, you can see he clearly looks younger. Pics almost look like different deer but you can see the broken and missing right G2 in both.

Id say his deer has a little more gut and brisket than yours. Probably a year older but hard to say without knowledge of growth patterns in the specific areas. . Both good looking deer.

i think his brisket is showing more because he's skinny, and less because he's old.
