My son is 17 years old and would like to hunt his first deer. I am interested in any info anyone has to offer for a hunt (we're in SE Texas). Not looking for a trophy but just a mgmt type hunt. He is even more interested in the hunting experience than necessarily seeing/killing a deer. Any recommendations greatly appreciated.
