Well, if you don't do anything to stop nature from doing its thing - nature is going to do its thing, so we will be having a litter of puppies ready to go to homes around Christmas/New Years.

The last time I had a litter was in 2012 and many of those pups went to good Aggie and outdoor families across Texas and the country. It has been fun watching those families share their lives with their pups.

I'd like the pups to go to families that are active outdoors or plan to get the pups in the field, water, active with kids, etc

Pups will be AKC/UKC registered. I'll post more specific details on deposits, price, etc soon but if you'd like to be contacted when I get those details together shoot me an email.

I let my daughter do as much of the "hands on" as she felt comfortable doing. She may be attending vet school at A&M after this. She might start next fall!

I enjoy tracking the pups new homes based on alumni status of their new family:

Black Male: Headed to Fayetteville Arkansas to call the hogs
Choc Male: Headed to Houston Area to be an Aggie
Choc Female: Headed to Houston Area to be an Aggie

Everyone is nursing well. Momma is doing well. I've separated them into feeding groups (FATS and the TINYS) which helps make sure the little ones aren't getting pushed around in their group sessions.

Can you pick out who is on the FATS and who are the TINYS?

Man, the Kentucky waterfall on that kids head in the picture with the SXS is incredible.

It needed a little clean up on the sides and top which he got not long after that hunt! He and his sister have a bar trick where they tell people he will shake his mullet for a dollar. That's how they fund their claw machine addiction at a local bar/grill we frequent in town.

Congrats on the great family and healthy pups! That little boy is living every boys dream in the last picture. Just a boy and his bird dog.

I keep counting 11 tonight for some reason. I don't remember that big one being there before…

A year after losing my hunter and I still can't do it. Needed him this past weekend and had to wade out pretty far. Hunting alone hits me in the gut and all I do is wish he was with me.

Dew claws removed and successful first vet visit this afternoon. Pups are looking good!

School is out for state band competition today in Cameron. Got a little help with the morning feeding rotation

Damn it! You are making this difficult for me.

Mom is slowly taking some much needed time to herself when the pups sleep. She's still keeping watch of the neighborhood though!

We're going to need a bigger tote!
