Correct. Or lose some from the wind blowing the wrong direction.

These aren't mine, they're put up by our landowner. This is the only one like this the others don't have anything above it.

My uncle lives in Rockdale for the last 30 years or so. If you go to the Catholic Church there the you certainly know him.

First weekend of rifle I am making it out to deer lease and it looks like a turd floater... was already out during bow season when we had 2.5-3+" so I guess I am partially to blame. Oh well, I've got rain gear and we need the rain!

If you get rained on let us know. I know some land owners in Frio county that would pay you to hunt as long as you brough the rain.

11/19 1:50PM | Heavy rain and flooding will be a growing concern across the northern Edwards Plateau and Hill Country tonight through Thursday. The greatest flash flood threat extends from Del Rio to Junction and parts of the Hill Country, where several inches of rain may fall in a short time.

Additional rounds of rain on Thursday could expand the flood risk into San Antonio, Austin, and portions of Central Texas. Turn around, don't drown never drive through flooded roads.

The Junction Emergency Office called our church pastor and ask us to be prepared for stranded motorists the next 24 hours. We have a gym and many portable beds for events such as floods, ice on Interstate 10 etc.. So, the Sheriffs Dept. must think excessive rain a real threat. Possibly 10-12" is what was reported to us. Ah...ok. We need rain but don't like floods.

As of right now Junction has had no measurable rainfall. The heavy rain is totally lined up just west of us on the county line between Junction and Sonora and mostly moving north of Junction through Menard County. It has been raining hard in Menard to Eden east since before daylight. I wouldn't be surprised if Menard County has recorded 3-5" already. There is a reason many of the long time locals of Junction say we are the "hole in the donut" when it comes to rain. However, the way the storms are lined up west of town I do not see any way possible to miss it. Nothing is really moving west to east, just kind of training southwest to northeast but 15-20 miles west and stationary. Really strange to be constantly hearing thunder but no rain. Supposed to begin moving east this p.m.

This is what I'm seeing on radar. Note very slow moving front so if you are in its path it should be a good rain

Stay safe out there brother. We talked to our good friends just west of Harper about an hour ago. They have had about 1/2". I remember in 2003 or so we had 8-9" at the ranch on like Nov. 12 I think.
