Right side was hurting bad earlier, pain has generally subsided, but the hour drive home sucked.

There's also test kits you can order online. Not sure if they are any good. Literature says there's 0.2% chance it reconnects after confirmed success. Nearly every other method of contraception has worse odds.
Lots of docs check once early on then again about a year out. I think the "failures" are usually the people that didn't get checked especially more than once. Far less a few years out but not impossible. Seems to also matter what technique was used.

Told my PCP I wanted to get it done, he sent a referral to North Idaho Urology, and they scheduled me in Sandpoint one of the 2 days per week they have doctors who travel up from Coeur d'Alene.

Would recommend. Well run process. You only have to go in the day of the procedure, they call in your prescription the week before. Outside of the vasectomy (which wasn't bad) it was painless.

I am 6 days post op. yesterday and today the soreness was bad in the morning. worse than day 2 or 3.
Ready to get rid of this jock strap and embrace the sweet release tomorrow evening lol

Had mine done yesterday at the Y-Factor Houston. Only bad part was the numbing shots, like a rubber band popping my nuts. Felt a light pinch when opening up the left side but nothing beyond that the rest of the time.
Icing on and off since yesterday but no real pain, just taking easy and enjoying a weekend with no honey-do list.
The only really strange part was my wife requesting to watch. I guess I got to see her C section... She is a bit of an odd one at times.

My swimmers are too robust to be defeated by a vasectomy apparently.
Dr is adamant about 2 weeks before unloading does that seem right. Reading through this, dodnt see anything that was that long of a wait.
Also didn't see much mentioned on bruising, 6 days post op and 1 side is pretty solid purple. Internet said it normal and 30% get some but wondering how long to clear

My pain was still strong at two weeks. So was last thing on my mind.
Goog gosh, this is where multiple rounds of chemotherapy actually came in handy. I've been sterile for years. King of nice not having to worry about it. If there was a silver lining....
