Don't give me this. You keep coming back to this thread since you have nothing better to do. You have spent WAY more than 10 seconds on this thread.
Reading is hard. I stated that I wanted the 10 seconds of my life back from reading your
post, not the entire thread.

I don't care. That is the problem at hand. He and I are the two in the office that hunt alot, so he thinks he has to tell me about everything that he buys, sells, kills, cleans, cooks, or whatever he does outdoors. It's something different every day of the week and it gets old. Like I said before, he is the perfect example of a dbag that buys stuff he absolutely doesn't need just so that he can brag about it. You sound like you would get along with him quite well.
Sounds like you have a personal problem with the dude, and the fact that he enjoys different things in life that you do. It's also good to know that you have me figured out based on your assinine responses in this thread alone. You should become a palm reader due to your high level of astuteness. You might want to take into consideration that I do not own a custom built rifle myself in your response back to me - only accurized rifles.
quote:
Actually, I have read all their post and agree with most of them. It's just a slow day at work and its kind of funny to see people like yourself get riled up over my post because you own a custom rifle. This board is pretty slow during the off season, so someone needs to stir the bucket every once in a while.
If you agree with "most" of them, why do you keep letting yourself get beat down in this argument? You also presume that somebody like you would even cause me annoyance, much less getting riled up over. I've spent more time enjoying watching you get your azz handed to you than anything, and really I hope you keep going - this thread has made an otherwise boring afternoon tolerable, but then again - watching a beat down usually helps out. Oh, and I mentioned this above - but since reading is difficult for a whippersnapper like you, I'll take the time to repeat it: I don't own a custom built rifle. I own a few accurized rifles, but nothing custom built. Darn, there goes one of your theories about me.
quote:
No, its more of just the arrogance that goes along with the guy. It just happens to be that he owns custom rifles too and that I, unwillingly, have to hear about each and every one of them within 24 hours of him buying it. It's not about the money. If he bought a regular rifle, I wouldn't mind checking it out. I love looking at people's guns. However, everytime he shows me his rifles, he has to tell me about how much better they are, how he can shoot for miles, how expensive they are, and on and on and on. It's funny and annoying at the same time. Especially considering the circumstances of how he hunts (within 200 yards of his target).
Seems to be a simple solution - if it's that annoying, man up and tell him to STFU about them. But that would require you to grow a pair, and I doubt you have the stones to tell your boss that. Your comment about loving to look at guns and hating to look at his just reeks of jealousy, nothing more, nothing less. So sad.
quote:
Challenge him to a shooting contest at the local range. If you can beat his azz with your out of box gun and ammo, tell him to STFU about how good his guns are...if he beats your azz, then your question is answered since those targets are about 100 yds (and customized guns dont matter at 100 yds, right ?)
We'll all be waiting for the results of this contest, because this would be the only way for you to prove your point, and this is an excellent idea.
