I bought my son a Meta Quest 3S VR headset for Christmas. He wants to play PC games on it, so he's connected it via USB to his Windows 11 PC. He has installed the Meta Quest Remote Desktop app and Mixed Reality Link for Windows 11. He has paired the devices.
His PC is a AMD Ryzen 7 5800X with 32 GB of RAM and an AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT w/16 GB RAM for video.
He unplugs/replugs the USB cable, clicks Enable, it begins loading, and then he gets a message that it's disconnected. On his external display, Windows pops up with "We can't find your headset. Please reconnect your headset." Have any of you set one of these up? My googling has led to a lot of advice; most of it very generic (make sure nothing unnecessary is running/update your video drivers/etc) and hasn't been terribly helpful.
One thing I have noticed is that Meta has a list of video chipsets that are supported and unsupported. The AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT doesn't appear on the list at all. The problem Benny has described doesn't sound (to me) like a driver issue, but I wanted to mention this.
