The original is one of my absolute favorite games and one of the few that I platinumed. I spent about three and a half hours playing this morning and have enjoyed this one just as much so far.

Yep, and it just continues getting better and better as you go along.

I love how they handled discovery of everything in the open world, and all the side quests. It's all very organic. I'm not focusing on any of the campaign even at this point, just going around and discovering things and upgrading my character.

Gorgeous game too, everything could be a painting or picture perfect scenic shot.

Its 100% Kill Bill set in feudal Japan. Loving it.

But there are tons of ******s bombing the reviews because its somehow woke...I dont get it.

One of the developers celebrated the Charlie Kirk assassination and the voice actor for the main character is "nonbinary" and calls itself a member of antifa.

They somehow made the foxes even cuter in this one. I was cutting a bamboo stand and two showed up to watch and cheer. LOL

Well I found the first glitch on Teshio Ridge. It wants me to survey with the spyglass but im pointing in the wrong direction and it won't let me turn the horse or go to the map.

That person was also fired

I fail to see the issue.

Regardless of the voice actors personal feelings, none of that is in the game. There's zero "woke" aspects to the script or characters. If you boycotted every product that had some person that worked on it that you disagreed with, you'd have to become a reclusive Amish

People are barking up the wrong tree here

Combat feels very much more like a dance in this one once you unlock 3+ weapons. Very fun.

Doing a face off when you roll up on a stronghold and your wolf pal shows up is awesome. It never gets old eviscerating the first dude while your wolf tears someone else's throat out.

If you do no other side quests, absolutely 100% be sure to do the Spiderlily General quest. It is remarkably well done.

Dude, you must have been grinding at it pretty nonstop, lol. No aspersions, heck I wish I could devote that much time to it. I love it so much I'm just slowly doing every single little thing as I stroll around the map, lol.

Pretty much binged it on the weekends and chipped off a bit every night. Game is very addicting, just loved being in that world.
