I think the bigger kick is for PC players who wont see it until 2027.

As a console player, I definitely welcome them focusing only on consoles for now. Both PS5 and Series X are very similar to develop for, so I'd expect them to deliver something we've never seen before.
Considering the Series X version of GTA V looks like it was made a couple years ago and the fact that I don't think I've seen another game rival the graphics of RD2... lets just say expectations are pretty high for VI!

Me too. The heists were the closest I've ever felt to getting to live Point Break.

Yeah, I had no complaints about V either... I obviously didn't "connect" with every character (or any characters for that matter), but I certainly found it entertaining to see the crazy stories play out.
Some of the best moments were switching to Trevor and usually finding him in a WTF scenario. And yeah, him driving the old lady back to her house was awesome.

Pretty brilliant strategy to release the GTA games in later half of a console cycle. They can pump out the best possible looking game and then sell an upgraded remaster when the next consoles come out.
I'm shocked they haven't released a Red Dead II upgrade... I'd probably buy it again to play it at 60 FPS on current consoles.
You could tell either a lot or most of that video was in 30fps. Definitely captured in quality mode, but who's playing these games at 30fps?
Man I want to play this game. I played the hell out of Vice City and IV (and the original). Never played V and didn't play the other one set in LA much.

Definitely 30 fps. I doubt there will even be a performance mode. But... Rockstar has always set the bar when it comes to graphics. Maybe they will surprise us with a performance mode we didn't think possible.
Even a 45 FPS mode would be big... Cause I'm with you, I can't stand to play games at 30 fps anymore.
