well, I was going to try to trade Pearsall, but if not, I was going to start him at flex, but now with Pearsall OUT (and Odunze on bye), I've got a lowly start decision at Flex in addition to my usual bad choices at RB2. (PPR)
RB2 pick one:
Charbonnet vs TB - he seems to get a dependable healthy split of volume with Walker every week. tough matchup
Rhamondre @ BUF - still gets some volume despite two fumbles in week 3. good matchup. 3rb committee.
Croskey-Merritt @ LAC - tough matchup, 3rb committee still.. like his ROS outlook, but not start-able yet.
Flex pick one:
one of the above or:
Christian Kirk @ BAL - he's ramping up in this offense and matchup is like slicing through warm butter
Brenton Strange vs KC - 7 targets each of the last two weeks is promising. I have Bowers starting and Pitts on bye.. . could trade strange or pitts later - closer to starting him than dropping him for a week 5 spot fill
...or drop Strange or Kirk and pick up Hollywood Brown, Darius Slayton, Demarcus Robinson, or Malik Washington
for the players I have:
yahoo suggests Charbo and Kirk,
fantasypros suggests Rhamondre and Charbo
draftsharks suggests Charbo and Strange
were I to drop someone,
yahoo suggests Charbo and Slayton
fantasypros suggests Rhamondre and Hollywood
draftsharks suggests Charbo and Hollywood
I'm hesitant to drop Kirk- he's not widely owned, but I'm a bit high on his speculative value for ROS as he's just ramping up as HOUs #2 wr after only two games.. they gave him a big 1 year deal and he's got little competition at the position besides Nico.
those other four options as free agents: not sold on any of them being a smash spot to help me win week5 and not sold on any of them for ROS value if i grab them now.
Hollywood's value disappears as Worthy is back and Rice coms back. his 5-6 targets/game are about the same as Kirk and less than Strange and will only go down.
Demarcus value is a "week 5" only add. He has zero value as they get Pearsall, Jennings, and eventually Kittle and Aiyuk back. ..and I don't know if Mac Jones is really going to do anything here- they'll lean on CMC and they also have Valdez-Scantling, Skyy Moore, etc. out wide
Slayton and Washington could have ROS value in the absences of Nabers and Tyreek obviously. I just don't know if either are that good. Don't trust Dart to feed Slayton-he'll rely on his legs and Skattebo- and the quick game to WanDale. MIA will really rely on Achane, Waddle, Waller.. not sure if Washington gets that much of a boost or not.
