I have no idea how much influence Schotty had in this decision, but he also needs some accountability here. He's the head coach. He should be the first one ringing the bell that this isn't good enough.

That's not a bust, it's just too much time. The zone has to follow the QB and his movement is going to leave uncovered areas if you give him that much time. As soon as he moves out of the pocket it was over cause you either have to vacate the zone or let him score untouched.
