Seems to be a mixed bag of rewarding and wonky work/life balance in online reviews, but it may be very division and team specific. Anyone on here have anything to share? I might be considering a QC lab manager role.

Round 1 went fine and I quickly got an interview with the hiring manager, who I felt was a jackass. Had to be on camera, but he wouldnt turn his camera on, and had such a heavy Indian accent I had to ask him to repeat himself multiple times. Only feedback i got on any response was "okay" and the next question. Could not get him to engage.

I would be amazed if I get to the next round but its already been 10 days, and I haven't heard a thing, so I'm guessing I already know that answer.

Sorry to hear that. The folks I've dealt with (as a contractor) have been great to work with and highly skilled/knowledgeable.

I've gotten call-backs on interviews that I thought went terrible, so maybe you are still in the running for the role. Good luck.

Former Tesla manager I once spoke to (5 years at Tesla) said he felt like he had to become a bully to advance his career there so he left.
