What are the negatives to q dropping below full time status?

Census already passed, so the only "negative" would be financial aid, namely pell grant (if i remember right). That, and you paid for classes you are no longer taking.

I did this once while in school. The rules back then counted hours for the whole academic year. So in order to maintain fin aid etc I had to take an extra class in spring semester. Not sure if that is still the case though.
