I have some basic tenets I go by and they have served me well. One of them is to pay no heed to anything coming from someone named Hakeem.

No, I don't think he's promoting civil war
He said explicitly he wants to beat them electorally, and then crush their spirit. It's a clear battle cry for civil strife, imho.

Thune sucks too.
Just a total wanker. I will never understand how he got in that position, meaning, how did anyone think he was the best choice.

Because the senate just cares about enriching themselves, not America.

Talk about accusing others of what you are doing.

I guess but I mean he was just a horrible choice out of horrible choices. What we really need is term limits. No one in Congress should ever serve more than six years. Ever.

He, nor any prominent democrat, ever get specific about what they decry as 'unAmerican' or whatever their gripes with MAGA are, just vague references to 'fascism' or racism. The intent is quite explicitly to suppress and then crush political dissent via the power of the federal government, including all 3 branches. This is a move toward civil war, pure and simple, in other words.

He's talking about crushing their spirit in an election. Let's not be like the dems and try to turn everything into an extreme commentary.
On January 6th I followed the crowd into the Capitol and shouted. Police stood by the whole time, hanging out with us and sometimes directing us places.

I respectfully disagree. He is promoting crushing their spirit after an election, with the power of the government. The whole 'open society' objectives as shown in Eisman's 'rule of law' doctrines is to strengthen the institutions of government to then not be subject to a populist 'backsliding' such that government autocrats are threatened by the people. This is widely shown in works by himself, Jankowicz, and various European tools that have been used to suppress/cancel threatening parties/elections in Europe etc. But most effectively by what they did to the non Ray Epps/26 FBI confidential human sources etc. in J6.On January 6th I followed the crowd into the Capitol and shouted. Police stood by the whole time, hanging out with us and sometimes directing us places.

Those show trials/gulags and use of over 1/3 of the FBI to find 'them all' weren't just to punish crimes, but send a message to possible Trump supporters (and of course himself) not to try to run for office/take charge of DC again. And they only regret that it didn't go far enough/didn't stop 'maga' from returning. Remember when Peepaw wouldn't send US marshals to protect even scotus justices homes when KBJ/Sotomayor were drawing out the abortion ruling? Stephen Miller has to live on a military base today with his wife and kids. Russiagate, Mueller, Jack Smith weren't just after Trump; they were after us, and they want to go further, next time. The violent rhetoric from the left is only increasing in tenor and tone, because it has a growing audience.

It sounds like something a coach would tell his team about the opponent in the locker room; I'm not seeing anything more insidious than "we need to win" in the statement.
