3 thoughts....
1) dont copy/paste entire articles.... that was long (but good).
2) just calling something "professional" doesn't make it so if the money isn't there. These people are playing sports that can't sustain them full time; they choose to do this. Working a second job, be it a real job or streaming, is the price they pay for something that is so niche it doesn't have the fan support to make it the only job.
3) I have seen where streamers have actually taken to posting on pronhub instead of (or as well as youtube) as they make more via ad revenue (streamers for math, science. Etc).

ESPN aired the college conference tournaments and natty for beach volleyball in the past couple of weeks.

Talent was hit or miss but it passed the time.

OnlyFans sponsors at least 2 motorcycle racing teams (maybe 3), and as far as I know none of the riders have OF accounts. They are the main sponsor for the American Racing team in Moto2, the mid level MotoGP class and the only team with an American rider right now.
