This race is really going to be interesting because for the first time I've heard liberals openly complain about Bass. I'm a regular listener of the Rewatchables Podcast where they discuss their favorite movies with a variety of categories. It's really a great concept and very entertaining. I highly recommend it.

Bill Simmons is the host (Boston's "The Sports Guy" but moved to LA over a decade ago) and he has a rotating collection of guests. They are all super liberal but because they discuss the movies I'm interested in I tolerate their occasional political quips.

Anyway, I've noticed recently Bill, as well as many of his guests, openly criticizing Bass and how she destroyed LA and the movie industry there (which obviously they care deeply about). Now is it enough to swing the election if there's a groundswell of acrimony towards Bass, who knows. It will be a good test of "blue no matter who."

Yes I know this is a niche podcast but you'd be surprised at how much of a following they possess and I have to think it's similar to what other LA residents are feeling.

The guy gets it. His team understands the pulse of the people in LA as well as around the country, and his ads coming out are spectacular. This coming out a couple days after dragging his sac across the face of TMZ as they failed with their Karen Bass supporting gotcha moment is just too good.

If you haven't seen the TMZ thing, TMZ thought they had a "gotcha" moment when it came out he was staying at the Hotel Bel-Air and his kids were in Santa Barbara and not the Airstream trailer. Spencer pretty much dunked on them and said that he lives there but there is no house to live in and that he's staying at the hotel because his security team won't let him stay in the Airstream due to the numerous death threats he gets daily, and on top of that, it took weeks to even get electricity and water ran so he could even hook up the trailer.

TMZ was all like "Your ad makes people believe that you live in the Airstream" and Pratt responds with "I don't live anywhere because I don't have a house because they let it burn down."

Classic Democrat. She's going to win. They booted the commies out of her home state in India. Her ideas would fail in India.

But they will "work" in Los Angeles.

The spending on homeless is being funneled through non-profits into the politicians pockets. There is no doubt It's corruption. But the people responsible for oversight are the ones in on the corruption, so it will never see the light of day. Homelessness will just continue to be a problem so they can keep funneling money to their corrupt non-profit money laundering network.

Back during "The War" when all I was allowed to do was go to the Grocery Store, the Hardware Store and the Liquor Store, I spent basically all my time in California (I left every opportunity that I got and sometimes even created reasons to take my wife and myself to Nevada, or Texas) working on home improvements. Thank God I owned my own home.

The 3 closest Home Depots were like this:
Burbank - had some stuff
North Hollywood - had more stuff
Hollywood - had the most stuff - except for expensive electronics that I could only get in Burbank

The junked out RVs in NoHo, the homeless encampments in Hollywood and Studio City were completely out of hand.

Yeah, it was something. Nevermind DTLA when I took my daughter to Truly LA to watch the World Cup Final in 2022. The place was nuts.
