100%. And so should Europeans. They are never going to fight for themselves anyway, so why not embrace the overlord that won't start beheading you and raping your women and children. Russia is definitely the way lesser of evils here.

Freaking nuts that is the reality post WWII history.

Couldn't have been more the opposite. We mainly conversed with our driver, but he was very pro staying in the United Kingdom, and very pro wishing they had stayed in the European Union.

Was a little disheartening, but overall loved the trip. Beautiful place, but maybe they have just been neutered over the years.

Hard for a man to have a fighting spirit, when there is no upward mobility for success to change your life.

I have taken maybe hundreds of taxi rides in Scotland. And not one time can I remember the driver being from Scotland.

So Spain is spending 30 to 1 on welcoming illegal invaders vs trying to enforce its laws. The race to the bottom continues, and the left's acknowledged native Spaniard replacement is moving ahead right on schedule.

Quote:

Spain, led by the socialist administration of Prime Minister Pedro Snchez, is believed to have about 840,000 illegal migrants living in its territory, with a fifth of its entire population now composed of foreigners of various classifications.

All real, true, patriotic and native culture loving English, Scots, Welsh, and Irish, and the MAJORITY of the population of each are firmly against the migration and cultural replacement (aka suicide) that is taking place, but their leftist governments do not care what the people want.

Three in five British Muslim voters would consider backing a pro-Gaza independent to prevent Labour winning, while almost half will consider backing Zack Polanski's Greens if it sends a message to the Government.

The left said they had to bring in young workers. They brought in young people, just not young workers.

There are several reports out there for the UK with slightly different conclusions. The UK lumps everyone from the middle east and India with the Japanese, Chinese, Korean etc. I believe the East Asians also contribute to the UK through their taxes but if you lump them together it helps hide the drain from Pakistanis and Afghans etc.

I'm sure I'm not the first to point this out by far, but this news isn't factoring in cost of living. You'd expect to be paid more in an inflated economy where everything's expensive. It's funny that the most apparently clueless chick was the one to point out that more freeloading is problematic for everyone, though.

That being said, I express a similar sentiment as homeboy, but in reverse: couldn't pay me to move to the UK, especially from Texas! And the memes from this report have been hilarious, at least.

No, their economy would adjust. Lower GDP and manufacturing output does NOT mean an economy craters, especially when you look at it on a per Capita basis.

As well, given the excessive amounts of social welfare and benefits programs the immigrants are a net loss. Very, very of them are more productive and contribute more than is taken.

Lastly, the native population may rebound if there was generally better culture and feeling about their country and future.

The UK is history didn't need millions of invading 3rd world immigrants to be the leading State on the planet, and they don't need it now. Neither does Germany or France.

I agree with what you're saying but let's not underestimate our rural population in the US. There is a reason why rednecks and country folks will always be around …. If these angry immigrant people get close to a redneck that person will be coyote bait before they can blink an eye… there are MANY people in this country that are not "city boy" soft… in fact they are opposite of the soy boys wearing skinny jeans from the big cities.

I spent lot of time doing sales all over the EU… lots of softies over there.. it's no wonder they are in the positions they are in

IIRC, Sikh males always carry that knife. And if they draw it, there must be blood drawn, even if they cut themselves. I was in a state court room in Santa Fe, NM and the trial attorney for the state was a Sikh, full white clothes, turban, beard and The Knife. He was allowed to bypass the metal detector because of that knife.

That was kind of scary, knowing he was armed but most people in that courtroom did not know he was armed.

My neighborhood in Cypress was full of Sikh's. First off, every group that is sufficiently large is going to have *******s, that is just unavoidable.

In general, Sikh philosophy is vey grounded. A Sikh man is called to live a simple, family oriented life, where doing good and taking care of your family are more important than worldwide justice or making lots of money. I would say that most of the family values of Sikh's align with Christianity, except that Sikh's are specifically called to act with violence to protect the vulnerable. Cowardice in the face of injustice to vulnerable is considered a sin. A Sikh man is required to act with courage to help the vulnerable. But, other than that, if Sikh's had an American anthem, it would be Simple Kind of Man.

That said, I know nothing about this case. This Sikh guy might just be an *******. But, I think lumping Sikh's with Muslims is stupid, stupid, stupid. Not saying that happened on this thread, but it does happen all the time.

New Mexico must be the most dysfunctional state in the union. You have a significant Republican presence but the concentration of Democratic elites in ABQ, Santa Fe etc just refuses to pass and enforce laws to keep their own society safe.

We just moved here to help offset the Subaru crowd which is pretty much half of Santa Fe. Surprisingly, it's an open carry state whose gun laws mostly align with Texas and it's absurdly beautiful, but yes it's a dysfunctional and very poor state for the most part. Mucho Native American reservations are always going to hold it back on the poverty metrics.

Santa Fe is awesome if you can ignore the politics. And everyone is super damn nice.

Agree with how beautiful the state is. But their politics used to be back and forth between a Repuplican Governor, then a Dem, then a Republican, then a Dem, rinse and repeat.

But as for the Sikhs they have a huge compound just north of Espanola which is visible from the highway. Or at least they did years ago.

Take the long way between Santa Fe and ABQ through Pojoaque to Bernalillo then up to ABQ. Beautiful drive through the Mountains. Great hiking and backpacking along that route, too. Hot springs and small waterfalls.

It certainly does. In the meantime, you have to buy yourself distance if here. We live on 3.5 acres in the foothills outside of town. All of our neighbors aside from one are part-timers. The other full-timer lives at the opposite end of the road from us. Random mix of people from all over the country.

The one neighbor we've had the most interaction with so far is an older Vietnam vet who is pissed at everyone else, so I really like him. Pretty funny.

Here's New Mexicos problem - In New Mexico, 22.6% of the workforce are employed by the government -- either at the state, local, or federal level -- the third highest share of all states. In keeping with the national trend, the number of government workers in New Mexico has decreased in recent years. There are currently 180,400 public sector workers in the state, down 9.3% from 2010.
