This entire discussion is why we need term limits. No one should hold political office for 30 years. Heck, 10 years is pushing it.

I'm not a fan of Hunt, but he's preferable to Cornyn. Will vote for Hunt in the primary if I had to decide today, but am ok with Paxton as a hold my nose vote.

People repeat their past mistakes, as you pointed out. Thank you for proving my point.

"Winning" with a candidate that enables the Overton window to keep drifting left is not a long term win like you think it is. Incredibly shortsighted is a good phrase for it. It's leaving the problem for your kids/grandkids to solve since you didn't want to deal with it in the present. Once you grasp that concept you can start to see the long term bigger picture.

This is very, very easy for everyone to figure out. All anyone has to do is pay attention to the candidate the Enemedia is maligning. That's it! End of story. That candidate, btw, is Ken Paxton and we really need someone other than Cornyn, or Cornyn-lite Hunt.

If Cornholio manages to win the nomination again, I'll have to vote for the swine in the general election despite him being a Rino (Commie light also fits). In case anyone hasn't been paying attention (ahem) voting for a DemocRat is like shooting yourself in the head. I'd vote for Hunt in the general too, but agree with your milquetoast comment 100%.
