And that's really my issue. The government could do a better job with messaging. The two things I see them doing are

1. Quoting the high level stats
2. Showcasing a handful of examples

Seems at this point the President would do well to have a nationally televised, PrimeTime address wherein he lays out the details for 30 minutes. Nothing but facts, with definitions for terms and categories used.

And better yet, have someone else in his admin do it. Someone who will stay on message and avoid inflammatory rhetoric.

At this point I would be OK pulling back some in Minneapolis and then sending all illegals to Minnesota. But I would make a public event out of it and announce that the governor and mayor wanted it. Make them own it. Make the citizens then vote for chaos, fraud and corruption. I have to believe Trump is going to break them too.

Minn-StPaul turns over any illegal felon they have in custody upon bail or other release and brings them to the ICE facility. They also find and turn over all illegal felon on the ICE target list.

ICE returns to and remains in, their facilities and stop all targeted operations within the cities.

1. Legal work and residency permits to law abiding non citizens. Criminal conviction is immediate deportation.
2. Non citizen driver's licenses and automobile insurance required or immediate deportation.
3. No government benefits.
4. No voting rights.
5. No inclusion in the census and/or other mechanisms affecting legislative representation.

Then they can go through the legalization process like current naturalized citizens.

This really shouldn't be that hard. Other than the fact that the Democrats want to buy the votes of the illegal aliens with government handouts. But the Republicans can take away all the Democratic talking points by showing just a little initiative and offering up a reasonable plan.

It's my understanding that right now, they're just going after criminal aliens, but will take others who are found with them.

And that is the main reason why other communities aren't seeing the turmoil that Minnesota is seeing, because ICE isn't conducting raids in the neighborhoods to catch the criminals, and for sure not the "otherwise law abiding" aliens.

At least that's my impression from what I see reported.

It has been going on on a more limited scale for many years, using the same methods, under several administrations. There was not any violence or brutality before because Democrats cooperated and participated in locally detaining and handing over criminal illegals. Democrats once supported a degree of suppression of illegal migration, at least the appearance of it, due to their union base. Now they have abandoned that and shifted to identity politics Maoism and demographic manipulation completely and have encouraged urban local and state resistance to once smooth and uneventful immigration enforcement to manufacture an issue they can construed as an identity politics issue of racism. They believe that gives them a sort of politics is religion mandate, and it cynically exploits illegals .as a permanent political underclass to parade as victims of oppression.

I would advocate a step further, walling off minnesota from the usa. They can join canada or be independent matters not to me.
