More than one way to skin a cat. Change tactics, keep them guessing, cut off funding, go hard on corruption charges, keep them guessing. ICE comes back in force when the time is right.

Yeah could be. But unfortunately , I'm to the point believing this nation can't go forward given the level of division and evolving hatred. No way these two views of governance can coexist in the same political entity.

I understand how you feel. MN, NY, Ca, WA, OR, Ill, Mass, etc are very broken. Their Eco and population have been declining in relative terms for years now. But they double down on these failed policies that are turning once prosperous states into dumps. Just watch what Cal's stupid wealth tax is about to do to its economy. And NYC- wow.

Couple months ago I was visiting a client/friend at his ranch/facility close to Driftwood and when I pulled up to the gate and couldn't get the passcode right, some brown dudes working on a fence panicked and ran. Asked my buddy what that was about and he said ICE had made it's way through the area multiple times that week. LOL.

I'm fairly certain she is joking but I do wonder what levers Trump has here. Minnesota is not cooperating with local PD support, not to mention all the fraud. What funding can be yanked?

Correct. People forget that Lincoln was faced with this exact conundrum over slavery and states rights. Many encouraged him to allow states to do what they want but he was wise enough to realize a house divided against itself cannot stand.

I wish the Fed government would be more transparent. Why not release the names and details on every person they've apprehended in the last year? Let the media folks parse the data and report on it. I'm suggesting not only the names (which can be slightly redacted if necessary), their nationality, their immigration status, details on any legal charges against them, and their current status. It would show what was done with those caught up in an operation who are legal residents or citizens, it would show exactly how many were detained who are here illegally but haven't committed other crimes. And it would show how many were charged with violent crimes.

The two sides are claiming radically different stats. Release the full details and let the American people see it all.

If we are letting ICE actions there disrupt and distract from going after the fraud, then I agree with this. Tackling this fraud first cuts the head off the snake in MN. It's the source problem. Then you can round up the Somali illegals afterwards.

In that regard, I think this current situation is playing into the hands of Walz and Frey.
