I'm actually off all weekend and finished re-watching "Picard" and also watched the first 2 episodes of "Starfleet Academy", which is set in the way future timeline of "Discovery", and it's not great but not overtly bad.

I'm not a Trekky, either. Haven't seen that cartoon bull**** and don't really like Discovery, but have seen it.

You rewatched Picard, are watching Starfleet Academy, have seen Discovery and understand the timeline... but you're "not a Trekky"

Re-watched Picard.

That's the first I've heard of someone doing that.

Grew up with a Trekkie stepmother when my mom died when I was little. So, was inundated with Trek stuff .

So, no, not a Trekkie, but I do have a soft spot for Trek-based shows, to a point. And "understanding the timeline" isn't hard. Remember, I'm also half-white. ;-)

Star Trek peaked with DS9. Voyager was a step down but still mostly good. Everything after was a series of dumpster fires that got progressively worse.

Locating Star Fleet HQ and the Academy in San Francisco turned out to be oddly prophetic. Perfect representation of what Star Trek has become, and what it used to be.

I'm going to have to go ahead and disagree with you there. Lioness is an awesome show.

Why is Gamora all bloody!?!?!?!

What did one lesbian vampire say to the other lesbian vampire?

See you in a month!

Back to what is important, Morena Baccarin is #1 on the hot sci-fi woman list.

And somehow Tricia Helfer was left off. She's up there.

Bonus post, if you Google "Is Starfleet Academy woke garbage" you'll get a lecture from Gemini how you are wrong.

Getting lectured by a constellation on this topic somehow makes sense.

1. Take a beloved IP
2. Put a chick in it and make it lame and gay.
3. Cry misogyny when people hate it or dont watch it at all because there is no target demo for these shows. Women like shows like The Real Housewives and Keeping Up With The Kardashians, not nerd **** like Star Trek.

The only problem with giving William Shatner total creative control is that he had that once ... the result was Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, about a rogue Vulcan looking for God and finding a lunatic demon thing that thought itself a god.

And a Klingon that said "I apologize" rather than vaporizing Captain Kirk.

But even as much as I disliked that movie, I'm guessing it's far better than this new Star Trek show.

You are correct sir. I am going to amend my Rushmore. She's on. Taking Denise Richards off....we don't need her spreading Charlie Sheen's space aids to the crew.

Best thing about Star Trek was 6 of 9......

What you did there...I see it!

This thread got me thinking.......Who is on the Space Sci-Fi Hot Chick Mount Rushmore?

Jerri Ryan of course secures a spot. But who else?

My votes for the last three spots go to:
1) Denise Richards - Starship Troopers
2) Jane Fonda (politics aside) - Barbarella
3) Dina Meyer - Starship Troopers

No I don't give honorable mentions for any Star Wars chicks....they were all mid

Erin Grey in the silver jumpsuit from Buck Rogers...
