Collectively, the continent knows it is lost, has no ability to defend itself, and is economically broken. Now, Spain's socialist, corrupt, and massively idiotic PM has decided to stick yet another finger in Trump's by refusing to allow the US to use jointly-operated bases during the current conflict. Sanchez despises Trump and US but lives the Palestinians and Hamas, Xi and the CCP, and the current/former Iranian regime. Inexplicable. It's like I'm living under a clone of the Biden administration. Every critical decision that needs to be made is made wrong. Sanchez be voted out at the end of 2021, and his party will get demolished.

Yes. EV's take a massive amount of energy to manufacture, and with energy prices what they are in Germany (and Slovakia etc. where VW makes stuff) I think the shift to them was even dumber than the push by Ford/GM/Stellantis here.
