I'm just saying that a federal judge would know that legal memorandums in support of a motion to dismiss are not that long. Most federal districts have page limits, in fact.

The settlement fund is from the DOJ and only applies to actions under the Biden admin.

You couldn't write a memorandum in support of a motion to dismiss in a couple of weeks? On sketchy constitutional grounds? Granted, needs some tapdancing creative thought to make that stuff up but since delay is the goal and providing appeal fodder, can't be that difficult.

I'd just add, if that (electoral impact of his trial) is his intent, it's a pathetic fail likely caused by his inflated ego and sense of righteousness. The left still dislikes him for failing to stop Trump both times (before the election in 2016 and after he was sworn in). If his and other russiagate trials make the headlines around October, it will only inspire more GOP turnout and wins, not the opposite.

But I'm not surprised, his sureness as to being morally pure and always the smartest guy in the room is what led to so many of his failures.

Can you explain your basis for saying it's "sketchy" constitutional grounds?

I went back and read the posts from when the posts from when the indictment came through today. I didn't see a single poster that thinks this was a "true threat" as defined by constitutional law. If it's not a true threat, then it's protected by the first amendment.
