Just curious, do you believe in NDEs (near death encounters)? The life review is almost always present but it is not judgemental. Simply shows the effect your actions had on others.

The notion of a remorseful seat on a couch or some such reviewing mistakes/falling away from Christ with God to me makes very little sense.

I have no expectation that I am owed such attention or a review from God, but I don't know why many feel this is something that is likely to happen when 'the final trumpet blows.' It just seems unbiblical to me.

To dermdoc's question (LOL, apple now autocrorrects that username to 'drumsticks'), I do think there is some validity to some NDE encounters, but not enough to determine/know which ones are real, or if they are indicative of what all will experience (or a class of believers etc). They are pretty fascinating though.

Some, the ones who acknowledge Jesus. The ones who don't, but just some kind of "force," I do not.

The logistics/process are usually reported as being similar regardless of whether the person claims to encounter Jesus. I've read quite a few

Out of body experience, tunnel, loved ones waiting, overflowing love from the creator, life review, etc.
