There was a thread a few months ago on R&P about writing a college novel, and I looked it up and realized that you started that one as well!

There are probably 30-40 people who regularly post on the R&P board, mostly middle-aged men interested in theology or philosophy so not sure if that is the target audience for your novel or not.

But as powerbelly said, don't do a market analysis or survey to cater to the supposed preferences of the consumer. Instead write the novel you want to write and explore the ideas you want to explore.

Art for art sakes.
